Adapted from Stephen King's novel, De Palma's Carrie is a celebrated classic in the horror genre. Now in a stunning 4k restoration, this bloody tale of teenage revenge is a must see on the big screen!

Daughter of a deeply religious mother, Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) is completely unprepared when thrown violently into puberty. Cruel reactions from her classmates and mother ignites a paranoia in Carrie that gives rise to telekinetic abilities and ultimately a bloody, righteous frenzy.

The film will include an introduction from Leicester Queer Film Club, a bi-monthly social and cinematic event that offers thoughtful introductions, space for discussion and a welcoming environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ stories. Followed by drinks in Phoenix’s Café Bar.
