Oscar-winning Siân Heder (CODA) directs this remarkable true story about revolutionary campaigner and activist Judy Heumann and her fight for anti-discrimination laws for individuals with disabilities in the 1970s. Ruth Madeley’s performance is outstanding as Heumann in Heder’s irreverent drama which follows the battle between government officials and activists leading up to a 28-day takeover of San Francisco's Federal Building in 1977. Being Heumann boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Mark Ruffalo as Joseph Califano, the U.S. Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare. The cast also includes Dylan O’Brien and Rob Delaney.
