Told through parallel stories, one inside the other, the film follows Raul, a celebrated filmmaker struggling with a script based on himself and those closest to him. Within his story is Elsa, an aspiring filmmaker caught in a web of frustrated dreams, loss, and complex relationships as she attempts to write her own autobiography. But the cyclical, artistic vampirism of self, friends, and lovers begins to threaten everyone’s integrity and happiness.
