A love triangle of jealousy in the 1920s Paris art scene is brought to life in this stylish drama documentary about iconic Irish architect and designer Eileen Gray, who built her stunning modernist villa on the French Riviera. The house in question, “E.1027”, was borne out of the love between Eileen and Jean Badovici – but professional envy from Gray’s male contemporaries ultimately forced her out of her dream home.

Screening as part of the Leicestershire and Rutland Society of Architects' LOVE ARCHITECTURE festival, this year the theme is "home".
