Café Bar supervisor Ben Savigear has chosen Gregory Hoblit’s underrated supernatural thriller, starring Denzel Washington as Philadelphia detective John Hobbes who attends the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese. After the execution, Hobbes is assigned to investigate a string of new, apparently copycat, murders in Reese’s style, and is soon drawn into the world of the occult, finding himself in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a demon who can possess human beings by touch.
