Garance (Adele Exarchopoulos) is a talented actress, but not a star. Running between theatre rehearsals and auditions, trying to afford rent in Paris, and dealing with illness in her family, she finds fuel and comfort in drinking. Set over the course of 8 years, Another Day charts the spiraling of Granace’s life as she goes from a functioning alcoholic to someone unable to keep a relationship – her relationship with artist Pauline (Sara Gridaudeau) suffers – or a job. Jeanne Herry (In Safe Hands, All Your Faces) offers a naturalistic and propulsive portrait of a woman struggling, exploring the way addiction manifests in the lives of addicts and those around them.
