Two best friends at a British boarding school embark on a summer project “to fall in love.” Part academic experiment, part fantastical pursuit, Flic (Marni Duggan) and Minna (Galaxie Clear) set their sights on the next person they see. This happens to be their geography teacher, Miss Delavigne (Alice Englert)! When the boys’ school joins them for a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” the friends’ love project is threatened.

A witty, lyrical debut feature from BAFTA-winning director Molly Manners (One Day, In My Skin), Extra Geography premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2026. It belongs among the ranks of Ladybird, Booksmart and Frances Ha – but with a distinctly British charm and sense of humour.
