Two strangers meet on a train and agree to "swap murders" in Hitchcock's classic and deadly cat and mouse tale.

Amateur tennis star Guy Haines wants to divorce his unfaithful wife so he can re-marry. On a train he meets the smooth talking (and psychotic) Bruno – who suggests they “swap murders” – Bruno will get rid of Miriam while Guy will kill Bruno’s hated father. Although initially humouring Bruno, Guy manages to get away, but he soon finds out that Bruno was serious and their lives are now entwined in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
