Power Station (12A)

This fascinating new documentary depicts a prototype of community led power and resilience built around one question: “What could we do from where we live, with the people around us, to build power – of energy and imagination?”

Having begun in the depths of lockdown with the question “What could we do from where we live, with the people around us, to build power – of energy and imagination?”, Power Station is a scalable in-your-face prototype of community led power, working to turn a street and local schools solar. From sleeping on rooftops to growing thousands of sunflowers and attempts at a Christmas number one, community spirit and resilience are at the heart of this new documentary.

Showing as part of Green Screen, a new monthly strand in our programme presenting films looking at climate change, activism and sustainability.
