An evening of short films from filmmakers and artists across the Midlands. The programme brings together different genres, styles and stories, giving you the chance to experience the range of what’s being made in the region, all within the time it usually takes to watch a single feature film.

Curators Barbara B, Wayne Nelson and Keith Allott will host the screenings, with short Q&As with attending makers after each film. We’ll finish in the Terrace Room, where you can meet the talent, talk about the work, and connect with other creatives.
Short PLATFORM is a relaxed space to see new films, hear from local voices, and meet people working in the Midlands screen community.
