From writer-director Dolly Wells (Doll & Em) comes this charming comedy-drama set in Brooklyn.
Intelligent, spoilt, lazy and bored, Lilian (a superb Grace van Patten) moves into her dad’s friend's house in Brooklyn after a break-up.
Finding that she is in fact sharing the house with celebrated but reclusive novelist Julia Price (Emily Mortimer) and her musician husband – and wanting to impress her ex and his new filmmaker girlfriend – Lilian sets out to make a documentary about the hermit-like Julia.
As Julia gradually warms to her, Lilian has to deal with her own relationship with her estranged father and an eccentric cameraman!
