It’s just after WWII and a number of fleeing Nazi’s have been tracked down to Brazil. Devlin, a U.S. government agent, persuades Alicia, the American daughter of a convicted Nazi criminal, to infiltrate the group. As the two begin to fall for each other, she is instructed to win the affections of one of the Nazis, Alexander Sebastian. When Sebastian’s intentions towards Alicia become more serious, Devlin must decide whether to intervene or watch her slip even further undercover.

With outstanding performances from Grant, Bergman and Claude Rains (Casablanca), Notorious is one of the most underrated classics of the Hollywood Golden Age.
