Each month a member of staff chooses a film to screen, January's film was chosen by Head Projectionist Paul Marygold.

"One of those films that that seems to follow me through life like a shadow. Cultures and lives collide in this a supreme example of top flight moviemaking, with everyone involved at the very top of their game. Career best turns from Ford and McGillis are memorably accompanied by Maurice Jarre’s haunting score. Full of unforgettable sounds and visions, Peter Weir’s enduring fable continues to touch a fragile and tender nerve. I cherish this picture and hold it very close to my heart. I’m sure that others do too."
