Chaplin's classic silent comedy is a wild roller coaster and hilarious turn of events, emotions and absurd set pieces which take you from the high-top snowy mountains of Klondike to a wondrous winter town on the gold trail.
Chaplin plays a lone prospector who ventures into the harsh snowy Alaskan landscape during the 1890s to seek his fortune. Instead, he finds a surprisingly chilled bear, a wanted criminal (Tom Murray), burly amnesiac Big Jim McKay (Mack Swain) and a beautiful dance hall girl (Lita Grey), with whom he falls in love.
Do not miss your chance to strike gold by coming to see this classic comedy on the big screen.
Screening as part of CineMisfits, a film festival curated and delivered by DMU students.
