Two decades after her scandalous marriage to a man 23 years her junior, Gracie Atherton-Yoo (Moore) and her husband Joe (Charles Melton) welcome Hollywood actress Elizabeth Berry (Portman) into their home as she researches Gracie ahead of playing her in a film.
As Elizabeth tries to understand the woman she’ll be portraying, the outside scrutiny begins to unravel Gracie and Joe’s relationship.
