Three friends seek joie de vivre in this charming Italian road trip across the Venetian Plain.

Fifty-somethings Carlobianchi and Doriano are a pair of charismatic, penniless petty criminals. Belonging to Italy’s so-called ‘Lost Generation’, they have never left their hometown in Veneto and spend their days and nights drinking. One night they meet Gulio, a young architecture student, and the unlikely trio embark on a road trip through the Venetian plains, seeking to revive Gulio’s zest for life. A charming revival of the Commedia all’italiana genre that offers a refreshing take on contemporary life in Italy.
