When a meteorologist (Blunt) is possessed by an alien signal live on air, the race is on to decode the unsettling message. A cyber-security expert (O’Connor) claims he can translate it, but his attempts to go public attract the attention of clandestine authorities who will stop at nothing to keep the truth hidden.
