Leicester Jazz House continue their season of shows at Phoenix with the Nigel Price Organ Trio – winners of the Parliamentary Jazz Award for 'Best ensemble' and British Jazz Award for ‘Best Small Group’ – who’ll be performing selections from their vast back catalogue as well as their latest album, the critically acclaimed It’s On!.

Nigel Price is known for his clear, no nonsense, driving approach to jazz guitar and has steadily become one of the UK’s foremost exponents of the instrument. Ross Stanley is one of the country’s greatest musicians, and plays a real B3 Hammond organ complete with two Leslie speakers. Man-of-the-moment Joel Barford completes the trio, bringing his incredible drumming ability. Together they form perhaps the most hard hitting, dynamic and exciting jazz group on the scene today.
