Elizabeth Olsen stars at the centre of a love triangle in this charming screwball comedy set in a bureaucratic afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity.
Set in a bureaucratic afterlife, reminiscent of Albert Brooks' Defending Your Life, souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity. Joan (Olsen) is faced with the impossible choice between spending her afterlife with Larry (Teller), the man she spent her life with, and her first love Luke (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive. The lead trio are clearly having a good time in this charming screwball comedy, alongside Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers) as Larry’s “after-life coordinator”.
